Flowversal was started by Nishant Kumar out of a frustration most small teams will recognise. Automation software came in two shapes: tools simple enough to set up in an afternoon but unable to express anything with real logic in it, and platforms powerful enough to do the job but needing a consultant, a retainer and a quarter to deliver.

Neither fits a team of five. The work that actually needs automating — chasing an invoice, onboarding someone, keeping two systems agreeing — has branches, exceptions and a moment where a person should look at it before anything is sent. That is not a template. It is a small program, and it should be possible to build one without being a programmer.

So Flowversal is a canvas. You put down a trigger, add the steps, branch where the work branches, loop where it repeats, and drop in an approval where somebody needs the final say. Where judgement is required rather than data movement, a step can be handed to an AI model or to an agent with its own tools — and every major model provider is included, because paying four API bills to automate your own work is absurd.
